Caledon Ski Club recently hosted our annual staff appreciation event at the Club. We wanted to share with you some of the awards given out. 1) Cheryl Forsythe - Administration: CALEDON AWARD OF EXCELLENCE This award honours an employee who has made significant sacrifices and has provided long term service to the Club. Their tenure and contribution have made a lasting impact to Caledon and has been recognized by both peers and membership alike. 2) Ryan Thompson - Operations: CALEDON STAR SERVICE AWARD This award honours an employee who has shown exemplary performance in their duties while providing service to our membership and guests as recognized by their peers. 3) Blair Wallhouse - Ski Patrol: CALEDON HEALTH & SAFETY AWARD This award is in recognition for the contributions our employees make in fostering a culture of health and safety. Presented annually, this employee has demonstrated a commitment to the overall health and safety in the workplace. They take a proactive and preventative approach to their job, as well, they take action in recognizing and prevent potential injuries and unsafe conditions. They demonstrate a general attentiveness towards the improvement of our health and safety culture here at Caledon. 4) Jennifer Vivian – Alpine Development: CALEDON MAKING A DIFFERENCE AWARD This award is in recognition of an employee that demonstrated acts of kindness, sincere cooperation, a positive attitude and an exceptional willingness to assist others. They promote an environment that is respectful, collegial and supportive. They foster a culture of appreciation, recognition and inclusivity. Coaching Awards
Andy McDevitt – Dedication Award: For displaying the highest level of commitment to our vision/mission, through their actions and message to others.
Alexa Chick – Excellence Award: For displaying the highest standard of coaching performance through all aspects of sport.
Paul Bieman – Caring: For displaying kindness and concern for their fellow Athletes, fellow Coaches, Club and program as a whole.
