OPERATIONAL UPDATE
The news this afternoon from the Provincial Government was not what we had been hoping to hear. The local Medical Officer of Health and the Province have extended the stay-at-home order for the Region of Peel until at least Monday March 8th.
Unfortunately, the Club will not be able to resume ski and snowboarding operations until the stay-at-home order lifts, hopefully early next Month. All of us are saddened and disappointed that this is the reality we are facing at this time.
We will remain poised and ready to resume our operations on the slopes as soon as the regulations permit.
The Club is working on finalizing arrangements with Mansfield Ski Club that will allow Caledon Members to have guest access on Thursdays and Fridays until March 8, 2021. Please stay tuned for further information as we work through the finer details of the registration and check-in procedure.
In the meantime, we are continuing to offer the Membership the opportunity to get exercise on the property by hiking, snowshoeing, cross country skiing on our loop, playing Ice Stock, skating with reservations or playing disc golf with the family in the field beside the rink.
As we prepare for our re-opening, and to expedite your arrival ask the Club, we remind you to pick up your RFID cards. More details can be found in the section below.
We continue to remain hopeful that if we all do our part in the coming weeks, we’ll be back on the slopes as soon as possible. We thank you for your continued patience and support of the Club.
