The full terrain park build on Carson's Run should be ready for next weekend, and we want to give you a quick safety update.
The safety of our Members, Guests, and Volunteers is the number one priority of the Caledon Ski Club. While we provide the safest possible environment available, all downhill sports come with an inherent level of risk.
The best way to reduce that risk and make sure you and your family enjoy a safe and active day on the hill begins with the Alpine Responsibility Code. Please take a moment to review the code below. Parents, we ask that you take a moment to review it with your children. The key to a safe and successful day on any freestyle terrain comes from the SMART system. Today we want you to take an additional moment to review "Always Look"
START SMALL — Work your way up. Build your skills.
MAKE A PLAN — Every feature. Every time.
ALWAYS LOOK — Before you drop: With the ongoing changes to our freestyle terrain, an early run should be taken in the terrain park prior to using any of the freestyle features. Please be reminded that features and snow conditions can change regularly and additional runs to scope out features may be needed throughout the day.
RESPECT — The features and other users.
TAKE IT EASY — Know your limits. Land on your feet.
